Filling machine
GENERAL
The equipment is designed for filling LCD cells with liquid crystals. Because of the thin gap between the substrates and the narrowness of the channel for filling, a special technique using injection under gas pressure is required.
PRINCIPLE
The cells are placed into a sealed chamber. A vacuum is generated. They are then partly dipped into the liquid crystals. The vacuum is shut off and the chamber is again exposed to atmospheric pressure by filling it with nitrogen (N2). The change of pressure

- High level of vacuum down to 10-2 mbars, down to 10-4 mbars on demand.
- High quality gauge to check vacuum.
- Pollution free.
- Fast exchangeable tooling, no external tool required.
- Vacuum chamber: machined solid aluminum
- 1st stage vacuum : single stage rotary vane pump
- 2nd stage vacuum (on demand): turbo-molecular pump
